Ephesians 4:14-16
…that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro
and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the
trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful
plotting, but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into
all things into Him who is the head -Christ-
from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what
every joint supplies, according to the effective working by
which every part does its share, causes growth of the body
for the edifying of itself in love.
Greetings Bible Enthusiast!
Another way to progress toward maturity is to diligently read
and study the Bible. I know a man who, whenever confronted with
his lack of spiritual knowledge or understanding, states “I
once read the whole Bible from cover to cover.” As if that
was enough!
Then I know another man who has devoted the last thirty-five
years of his life to scholarly research of the Bible and he
is constantly saying things like, “Wow, I’ve never noticed
this before!”
It seems the wonders and discoveries in the Word of God are
endless. Read and study as you strive toward maturity!
God Bless You!

–TODAY’S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:
“Elijah’s servant went once, and saw nothing; therefore
he was commanded to look seven times. So many of you look
lightly on the Scripture and see nothing; meditate often
upon it, and there you shall see a light like the light of
the sun.”

Laws of Household Physics:
1. Leftovers always expand to fill all available containers
plus one.
2. A newly washed window gathers dirt at double the speed of
an unwashed window.
3. The availability of a ballpoint pen is inversely propor-
tional to how badly it is needed.

–ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:
Q. What did Jesus say is the only reason for divorce?
A. sexual immorality
“And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for
sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery;
and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”
Matthew 19:9
Notice Jesus did not say only adultery as the reason for
divorce, although sexual immorality certainly would
include adultery.
